Pathologists' Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Pathologists' Assistant to join our team at CT Assist, a leading healthcare staffing company specializing in cardiac and critical care.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced medical laboratory setting. As a Pathologists' Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting pathologists with various tasks, including tissue examination, surgical procedures, and laboratory tests.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in histology, immunopathology, and cancer diagnosis. You will be working closely with a team of experienced professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pathologists with tissue examination, surgical procedures, and laboratory tests
  • Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
  • Conduct quality control checks on laboratory tests and results
  • Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient workflow and accurate results
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in a related field, such as pathology or laboratory science
  • A valid state license to practice as a Pathologist Assistant
  • Strong knowledge of histology, immunopathology, and cancer diagnosis
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
