Job Title: Instrumentation Designer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Designer to join our team at Eichleay Engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and drafting instrumentation for maintenance and repair projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and draft instrumentation for maintenance and repair projects
  • Collaborate with project teams to complete design tasks
  • Prepare and revise detail and assembly drawings using AutoCAD 2024 and Raster Design Software
  • Coordinate and consult with engineers to create designs, layouts, and detailed components/systems drawings
  • Review and analyze technical specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to prepare drawings and assist in design drafting

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in an engineering or scientific discipline; or specialized courses in drafting, design, and engineering practices with 5 years or more experience
  • Sound knowledge of design and drafting techniques, engineering drawings, computer modeling work, and reading of drawings
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Raster Design software
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite and an expert with Excel
  • Experience with and editing drawings using Blue Beam software
  • TWIC certification and current card or ability to obtain
  • Ability to work on-site at a refinery or industrial facility with HHFT certification
