Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist our dentists during various treatment procedures, take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays), and provide excellent patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our practice.

Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures, including exams, fillings, and extractions.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Ask patients about their medical history, take blood pressure and pulse, and prepare them for treatment.
  • Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment by providing emotional support and explaining treatment options.
  • Provide patients with instructions on oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
  • Teach patients proper oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
  • Take impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth).
  • Perform office management tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and billing patients.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in dental assisting preferred.
  • Experience working in a dental office and assisting dentists.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Benefits
