Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team in the Neuro Trauma ICU at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, Indiana.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position with a 12-hour shift schedule, working nights and weekends. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care nursing and be able to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job DescriptionThe Critical Care Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. This includes implementing and monitoring patient care plans, monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition as appropriate, serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders, and assessing and coordinating patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted; Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required;
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required;

$65,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience.
