Job Description

As a Full-Time Outpatient Therapist at Ellie Mental Health - Katy, you will work closely with our dynamic team to further the mission of providing exceptional mental health care. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing excellent customer service for clients and collaborating with the team to achieve our goals.
  • Utilizing creativity in interventions to help clients achieve their objectives.
  • Maintaining 30 completed client sessions per week while ensuring 35 hours of availability for scheduling each week.
  • Consistently attending weekly team meetings and monthly individual meetings with the Clinic Director.
  • Ensuring accurate completion of client paperwork and obtaining required legal documents.
  • Completing session charges, notes, and recordings before the end of business on Thursdays.
  • Creating and updating treatment plans for each client.
  • Assisting the clinical team in marketing efforts, including social media posts and videos.
  • Maintaining a clean and collaborative environment within the office.
  • Reviewing and familiarizing yourself with the Ellie Mental Health - Katy Operations Manual and Handbook.
  • Completing annual HIPAA and Security Trainings through Accountable.
  • Communicating schedule changes or planned time off in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree or higher in one of the behavioral sciences from an accredited college or university.
  • Clinical licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, etc.). Provisional licenses will be evaluated on a per-applicant basis.
  • Experience with completing DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
  • Possess knowledge of various mental health areas, diagnoses, and modalities.
  • Ability to demonstrate stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant).
  • Fully licensed clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels before their start date.
