Job Title: Senior Technical Project Manager

Job Summary: Tandym Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Project Manager to lead technical teams on new product development projects in Power Systems and Control Actuation Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage technical team performance to project schedule and cost
* Support the program manager
* Lead new product development processes for commercial and military platforms
* Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, judgment, cooperation, and ability to communicate technical information
* Support new business pursuits that address program technical requirements and associated schedule and costs
* Lead a technical team from the beginning to the end of a new development project
* Communicate, plan, organize, supervise, and control work in one or more projects concurrently
* Interface with both commercial and military customers in technical program definition and execution
* Identify technical tasks and resources for projects and create engineering development plans, WBS, etc. needed to execute projects
* Manage system requirements and define lower-level requirements
* Oversee/review technical reports to satisfy internal and external deliverables

Requirements:

* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
* 8+ years of experience as a technical lead
* New Product Development experience in aerospace/military industry
* Ability to effectively communicate, plan, organize, supervise, and control work in one or more projects concurrently
* Experience in executing a project from the beginning to the end
* Excellent Presentation skills
* Experience developing WBS, project plans, technical requirements
* Strong documentation and writing skills
* Ability to work closely with a team of engineers and technicians and comfortable in laboratory environment
* Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
* Must be a US Citizen
