Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year based on experience and skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced technical support to clients via remote assistance, onsite visits, and proactive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance and uptime.
- Diagnose and resolve escalated IT issues related to network infrastructure, hardware, software, and cloud services, collaborating with the team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Implement and maintain IT solutions, including server setups, configurations, and migrations, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
- Manage client IT systems and networks, performing proactive maintenance tasks, updates, and patches to prevent issues and minimize downtime.
- Document client configurations, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Proven experience as a Tier 2 IT Technician or similar role within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Strong technical proficiency in network infrastructure, server administration, and troubleshooting IT systems, with hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and other cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and backup solutions, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), VMware Certified Professional (VCP)) are a plus.
