Job Summary:

This role requires a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and maintaining relationships with key OEM clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets within the aerospace and defense sector.">
  • Clients Relationship Management: Build, manage, and expand relationships with key OEM aerospace clients.">
  • Tailored Solutions: Identify client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet or exceed expectations.">
  • New Business Opportunities: Research and identify new business opportunities, including partnerships, market segments, and emerging trends.">
  • Presentation and Proposal: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and contracts.">
  • Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and production, to ensure seamless project execution.">
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market conditions, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.">
  • Sales Performance: Provide regular updates to leadership on sales pipeline, forecasts, and progress against objectives.">
  • Travel: Travel extensively (up to 75%) to meet with clients, attend industry events, and explore new business opportunities.">
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with company objectives and drive growth in the Aerospace & Defense sector.">

Requirements:

  • Extensive Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the Aerospace and Defense industries, including key market trends, customer requirements, and regulatory frameworks.">
  • Competitive Dynamics: Deep understanding of competitive dynamics, pricing strategies, and market positioning within the global Aerospace and Defense landscape.">
  • Complex Sales Cycles: Experience in navigating complex sales cycles, including contract negotiations, government contracts, and long-term customer relationships.">
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.">
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.">
  • Business Strategies: Ability to develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.">
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment between sales, product development, marketing, and operations teams.">
  • Technical Background: Technical background in engineering or related field, providing an advantage in understanding complex products and solutions.">
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field; minimum of 10-15 years of sales experience in the Aerospace and Defense sectors, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.">

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
