Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ochsner Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating complex imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and collaborating with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate fluoroscopy and cardiac equipment to obtain diagnostic images
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment
  • Document patient information and procedure details
Requirements
  • Associate degree in radiologic sciences
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in radiologic sciences
  • 2 years of experience as an allied health professional
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue. The incumbent must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
