We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Compliance Practice Leader to join our team in Columbia, MD or Washington D.C office. Key Responsibilities
  • Support Geosyntec's corporate clients in their compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Design and implement environmental compliance programs, provide guidance on regulatory requirements to minimize environmental risks, and develop plans and procedures for managing air, water, and waste.
  • Develop multimedia permit applications, negotiate permit conditions, and help develop strategies to comply with permit conditions.
  • Manage multiple clients and projects within the scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensuring quality standards on project deliverables.
  • Effectively steward and build client relationships to repeat business.
  • Develop business opportunities with new and existing clients and preparing associated proposals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, geology or a related field.
  • At least 8 years (10+ preferred) of experience in an environmental consulting environment, the environmental and/or health & safety compliance and management industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and effective communication and training abilities.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is between $115,040/year and $196,275/year, depending on location and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid holidays, vacation, sick, and personal paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401(k), and other benefits to eligible employees.
