About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Southwestern Vermont Health Care. This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Registration: Welcome patients, collect demographic information, and verify appointment details.
  • Medical Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with SVHC policies and procedures.
  • Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks, including filing, copying, faxing, and light typing.
  • Payment Collection: Receive patient co-pays and process payments in a timely manner.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in front office support, customer service, or a related field. Prior experience in healthcare is preferred.
