About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a PRN basis. This opportunity will allow you to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment while enjoying a healthy work-life balance.

Job Description

As a Pediatric Critical Care RN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill children. Your duties will include assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, and implementing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and prioritizing interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and family-centered care principles.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid RN license in the state where you practice.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in pediatric critical care nursing.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • PALS certification within 30 days of hire.
