Job Summary

The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a highly qualified Section Chief of Anatomic Pathology and Laboratory Services to lead our team in providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of pathology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage Anatomic Pathology services, ensuring compliance and quality management activities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, facility employees, and leadership to provide advisory, planning, and surveillance services
  • Solve complex problems in anatomic pathology and provide oversight in the Grossing Room
  • Provide coverage for Clinical Pathology/Laboratory Medicine Services
Requirements
  • Board Certification in Pathology (Clinical and Anatomic)
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience preferred
  • Full and unrestricted license from any state
  • US Citizenship: Non-citizens may be considered when it's not possible to recruit qualified citizens
  • Proficient in the written and spoken use of the English language
