Infrastructure Lead

The LiRo Group is seeking an experienced Vice President/Infrastructure Engineer Lead to join our team in the New York metropolitan area. This key position will oversee the growth and coordination of our Transportation Engineering practice, encompassing bridge, highway, rail, and traffic engineering services.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of strategic plans for the Transportation Engineering practice, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Oversee a wide range of civil/structural engineering, analysis, planning, and design tasks related to capital improvement projects for transportation systems and horizontal structures.
- Supervise condition assessments, load ratings, design plans, and specifications for repair and/or reconstruction of horizontal structures and related facilities.
- Mentor and train local engineering and CAD/BIM staff, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Prepare technical and cost proposals for new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with local transportation agencies, authorities, and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering; Master's Degree a plus.
- 15+ years' experience in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- New York State Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Strong leadership qualities and mentorship skills.
- Ability to supervise, delegate tasks, and provide guidance to technical staff.
- Understanding and application of code requirements.
- Experience with various structural analysis software.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines.
