Job Summary

ProSource Staffing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Apply basic electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including circuits, fuses, and overloads.
  • Test and install electrical equipment, including conduit, disconnects, contactors, and MCCs.
  • Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair power transmission systems, including chains, sprockets, bearings, and gearboxes.
  • Maintain and inspect air lines, hoses, and pipes to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety regulations and regulatory standards for rigging materials, including chains, hooks, and clamps.
  • Maintain and ensure safe operation of electrical cords, gas lines, oxygen lines, HVAC filters, and oven filters.
  • Keep the maintenance area clean and organized, including parts storage areas, and maintain inventory control of parts.
  • Comply with company housekeeping policies and standards to maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
  • Meet all company quality standards and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform tasks in a competent manner.
  • Knowledge of and experience with operating standard hand and power tools used in mechanical electrical jobs.
  • Basic understanding of hydraulic circuits, including pumps, directional control valves, and cylinders.
  • Certification and ability to safely operate a lift truck and an Overhead Crane.
  • Ability to read prints and drawings.
  • Ability to work well with others, including all levels of management.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with maintenance experience and a willingness to learn.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, AAS in Automation Controls or related field preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Tolerate working outside in severe conditions, including high temperatures, noise, and dust.
  • Able to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach for extended periods of time on a daily basis.
  • Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs, with lifting devices available and recommended.
  • Able to exceed a 40-hour workweek.
  • Ability to wear proper PPE as required.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, with every other Saturday, 3:30 pm to 2:00 am (2nd Shift).
