Speech and Language Therapist Position in La Junta, CO

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in La Junta, Colorado. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with K-12 students, providing essential speech and language services to help them overcome communication challenges and succeed academically.
Job SummaryThis Speech-Language Pathologist role is an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about making a difference in students' lives. As a key member of our team, you will conduct assessments and evaluations for speech and language disorders, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide direct therapy in both individual and group settings.
Responsibilities- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate students' communication skills to identify areas of strength and weakness.
- Develop and Implement IEPs: Create tailored plans to address students' specific needs and goals.
- Provide Direct Therapy: Deliver high-quality therapy sessions in individual and group settings to help students improve their communication skills.
- Collaborate with Teachers and Families: Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student progress and provide ongoing support.
- Monitor Student Progress: Track student outcomes and adjust therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal results.
- Masters Degree: Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Colorado SLP License: Possess a valid Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license or be able to obtain one.
- ASHA Certification: Hold an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or be willing to pursue certification.
