Overview

The General Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of a Giorgio Armani store and its team, including labor and supply budget.

Job Description

This is a leadership role that requires inspiring and motivating a diverse team to drive sales, provide an excellent client experience, build strong talent, and ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the brand, knowledge of the luxury/retail business, and organizational skills to manage the store effectively.

Key responsibilities include providing input on merchandising, marketing, and client relationship strategies, as well as shaping and executing store strategies to build trusting relationships with clients and associates.

The General Manager will also be accountable for ensuring appropriate communications are cascaded throughout the team.

To succeed in this role, candidates must lead by example and with integrity, collaborate, be intellectually curious, strategic, and results-oriented.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is around $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks, and retirement plans with employer contributions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum Five (5) years of experience in similar retail management field
  • College/Post-Secondary degree preferred
  • Experience with buying & merchandising is preferred
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills and the ability to influence partners and motivate direct reports
  • Demonstrated experience in executing Sales Management Trainings and Presentations
  • Proficiency with Retail Systems and Office programs, i.e., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Bonus

Italian, Spanish, French, Mandarin, or other language skills are considered a strong asset.
