Job Summary

As a Registration Scheduler Lead, you will serve as the first point of contact for all customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will be responsible for organizing and facilitating clerical administrative duties, performing cross-functional clerical and patient support duties, and maintaining patient chart information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contacts and communicates with customers, answering telephone calls and responding to voice mail messages.
  • Schedules patients for initial and follow-up appointments, tracks no-shows, and documents in the appropriate system.
  • Performs registration duties, including providing patient registration information, gathering signatures, and collecting co-pays and payments.
  • Maintains patient chart information, communicates with insurance carriers and hospital billing, and ensures that appropriate chart information is forwarded to medical records.
  • Views email on a daily basis and provides supervisor with appropriate information and memorandums.
  • Maintains inventory of office supplies and forms, and places orders as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for Hospital Outpatient Department (HOPD) sites.
