About the Role

The Administrative Services Specialist II plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of Health Services at Tennessee Tech University. This position oversees administrative tasks, ensures compliance with regulations, and provides exceptional customer service to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front office administrative support, including scheduling patient appointments and managing electronic medical records.
  • Oversee the front office staff and student workers, ensuring efficient clinic operations.
  • Assist with immunization compliance and manage departmental budgets.
  • Prepare data reports and maintain departmental website.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field, or an Associate's degree with three years of experience.
  • Clerical skills, supervisory skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in healthcare is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience, ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 annually. Additionally, benefits include two vacation days per month, one sick leave day per month, and thirteen university holidays. Medical and life insurance, retirement, optional 401k, and educational benefits are also provided.
