We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Coalinga State Hospital in California.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that involves providing medical nutrition therapy to forensic clients, patients, or inmates. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Assistant Director of Nutrition Services and will be responsible for developing and implementing nutritional care plans based on nutritional history and assessments.
Key Responsibilities- Developing and implementing nutritional care plans
- Assisting and advising clinical personnel on special nutritional needs
- Interpreting prescriptions for special diets
- Authorizing substitution or modification of special diets
To be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree and be registered with the Commission of Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. You must also be certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS). Additionally, you should have knowledge of principles, practices, and theories of nutrition and dietetics.
CompensationThe salary for this position is $55.00 per hour, and you will also receive great benefits, 401k, and paid time off.
