About This RoleWe are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will provide cardiac perioperative care to patients based on their individual needs.
Responsibilities:- Completes pre-operative assessments and interprets data to formalize a personalized plan of care for surgical patients.
- Evaluates the patient's plan of care to ensure positive outcomes.
- Demonstrates competency in circulating cases, including planning and efficiently providing equipment and supplies based on physician/patient needs.
- Administers medications and solutions in the O.R., monitoring the physiological status of patients receiving IV conscious sedation during surgery.
- Provides a safe environment for the surgical patient during their perioperative experience.
- Promotes cost containment while delivering quality patient care within the operating room.
- Participates in department on-call assignments and demonstrates flexibility to cover staffing as needed.
- Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License.
- BLS (American Heart Association BLS Provider or American Red Cross BLS) within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS (American Heart Association ACLS Provider or American Red Cross ACLS) within 60 days of hire.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred but not required.
- Minimum one year experience required as a CVOR RN.
This is a PRN opportunity with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. Estimated salary range: $$83,784 - $117,555 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
