Clinical Health Care Specialist

As a Substitute School Nurse with ESS, you will play a vital role in ensuring students have access to quality healthcare services while minimizing absences due to illness. Your primary responsibility will be to provide critical care services to medically fragile students and administer medications as prescribed by physicians. You will also maintain accurate medication records and reports, communicate effectively with medical, nursing, and district personnel, and manage health room services including first aid and CPR.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care to students with complex medical needs
- Administer medications and maintain up-to-date records
- Maintain open communication channels with medical professionals and school administrators
- Ensure a safe and healthy environment for students and staff
Qualifications:
You must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and be certified or hold an LPN license. Additionally, you should have current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification and meet all PA Department of Education requirements including clearances and certifications.
