Survey Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Survey Project Manager to join our team at Ayres Associates. As a key member of our Geospatial team, you will be responsible for leading and managing survey projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage project scopes, cost estimates, and proposals
- Lead and manage survey teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Network and develop relationships with clients and industry partners
- Work closely with internal and external clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Perform quality assurance and quality control on survey projects
- Adhere to OSHA and safety practices
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in North Carolina
- 3-5 years of project management experience
- 5-10 years of diverse field and office experience in surveying, including topographic surveys, construction staking, boundary surveys, and control surveys
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to walk over uneven terrain and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- A two-year degree in Land Surveying technology, civil engineering technology, or a bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or a related field
- Proven ability to monitor project budgets and meet client expectations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with NCDOT practices and requirements
- Ability to work well in team environments and take direction from multiple individuals
