Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Training Manager to join our team at NOLA Education LLC.

As a Training Manager, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing educational initiatives that align with our organization's goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the business' operations and decision-making processes, with a keen interest in producing targeted and tangible results leading to company efficiency, employee competency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze current courses, LMS, and employee knowledge to identify training gaps.
  • Design a range of targeted training programs and create materials needed for program implementations.
  • Develop individual training plans for each employee and implement a process to assign trainings and assess employee knowledge.
  • Collaborate with departmental trainers to deliver and design departmental trainings, develop existing staff to train in specialized areas, and identify departmental deficiencies.
  • Maintain an online library of resources and report employee progress to Department Heads and Collective Members.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also monitor the effectiveness of trainings, employee progress, training sessions, and needs for re-training.

NOLA Education LLC is an innovative curriculum provider for academically at-risk students. Our solution, Star Academy, is an accelerative program proven to advance middle school students who are at least a year behind by two grade levels in a single year while dramatically improving grades and standardized test scores.

We've achieved a 95% retention rate among at-risk cohorts from which 90% were expected to drop out. Our unique STEM approach to core curriculum re-engages disengaged students by combining hands-on project-based learning with workforce readiness skills.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in training management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of corporate LMS systems and experience with instructional design software.
Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.
