Job Summary:

The Forensic Psychology Director will lead the development and implementation of mental health programs for individuals with forensic needs. This includes planning, organizing, and directing the delivery of health services, monitoring and evaluating healthcare programs, and directing subordinate managers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plans and assists to develop and implement related policies and procedures.
  • Assists in planning, organizing, direct and coordinate the delivery of health services.
  • Monitors and evaluates healthcare programs.
  • Directs subordinate managers and staff. Assures that community health care services are adequate, appropriate, and accessible.
  • Develop long and short-term goals for the health agency and participate in the agency's strategic and operational planning.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited college or university.
  • Current Georgia license to practice psychology.
  • Three years of experience at the lower level Psychologist 3 (HCP142) or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five years of experience in the field of forensic psychology and five years of experience in management of psychological or forensic psychological services.
  • Forensic experience required.
