Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team at Nuvance Health. As a Recreational Therapist, you will work with patients to develop and implement treatment plans that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' social, emotional, physical, leisure, and cognitive abilities.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including writing goals and objectives.
- Provide therapeutic activities and interventions to promote patient progress.
- Design and implement programs to meet the needs of diverse patient populations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy or related field.
- Therapeutic Recreational Specialist Certification required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in recreation therapy or related field.
