Collaborative Physician Psychiatry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Collaborating Physician for our Psychiatry team at Brave Counseling and Psychiatry. This role will involve working closely with Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to provide high-quality patient care and support their growth as professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise up to 6 PA/NPs and provide regular feedback and guidance.
- Meet with PA/NPs at least once a week to ensure a smooth transition and address any concerns.
- Be available for case consultations, answer questions, and review charts as needed.
- Review 10% of charts per PA/NP and sign administrative documents as required.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in psychiatry (MD or DO) with Board Certification.
- Active, unrestricted license in the State of Missouri.
- DEA certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a psychiatrist.
- Supportive of physician assistants and/or nurse practitioners.
- In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and best practices.
