Job Description

The Attending Veterinarian Leader role at Biomedical Research Models requires a strong leader who can manage the veterinary service team, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide expert support to research scientists.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervises company veterinarians and animal care leadership.
  • Oversight of vivarium resource utilization, space planning, and equipment requirements.
  • Develops and reviews current and newly established policies and procedures.
  • Participates in IACUC meetings and serves as expert on implementing changes regarding animal care program.

Requirements:

  • Accredited veterinary school degree.
  • 10 years of related training and laboratory animal medicine experience.
  • Licence to practice Veterinary Medicine in California.
  • DACLAM eligible preferred.

Estimated Salary: $240,000 - $320,000 per annum.
