Job Overview

Action Youth America seeks an experienced After School Program Leader with Cheerleading expertise to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and facilitating academic and recreational enrichment programs for up to 20 students at various locations within the Montebello Unified School District.

Salary:

$45,000 per year (estimated), based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a positive adult role model, coach, and mentor to the students.
  • Develop engaging and creative lesson plans to promote academic and recreational enrichment.
  • Facilitate activities and events that foster social skills, teamwork, and leadership development.

Requirements

  • Minimum six months Child Care experience.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Commit to a full school year.
  • Must successfully pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting).
  • Must pass TB test.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
Working Conditions

Monday to Friday from 1:00 pm-6:00 pm (starting time may vary). Part-time, contract position.
