Job Overview

At Red Mile Inc, we're seeking a skilled Gaming Ambassador to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring the smooth operation of our Horse Racing Terminals, and promoting a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and support to patrons on Horse Racing Terminal functions, payouts, and handicapping.
  • Conduct regular zone checks to ensure optimal guest service and terminal functionality.
  • Maintain a well-stocked supply of ticket paper to minimize downtime.
  • Participate in jackpot payout processes and notify supervisors of any terminal malfunctions.
  • Record transactions and document terminal issues in the M.E.A.L. book.
  • Address guest disputes and notify supervisors of suspicious activity.
  • Stay up-to-date on policies and procedures to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Promote departmental and Red Mile promotions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Deliver prompt, courteous, and efficient service, adhering to Red Mile Service Standards.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the wagering floor by clearing refuse and pushing in terminal chairs.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a guest service position preferred.
  • Basic math skills and previous money handling experience are a plus.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and ability to operate Horse Racing Terminals with minimal supervision.
  • Strong reading and comprehension skills to complete standard forms.

Physical Demands:

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. and perform tasks that require standing, walking, and using hands and fingers for extended periods.
