Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Site Coordinator to join our team at TeamHealth. As a Site Coordinator, you will play a critical role in maintaining multiple paper or electronic systems, reconciling billing documents, and forwarding required documents to the Billing Center workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Management: Collect and reconcile billing documents, process documents within designated timeframes, and coordinate obtaining additional clinical information needed from clinicians.
  • Communication: Work closely with various hospital departments, physicians, and CRNAs to recover missing or incomplete charts and obtain documentation necessary for billing.
  • Problem-Solving: Initiate proactive communication with the Billing Center, Client Services Manager, Medical Director, Regional Medical Director, and the facility to resolve issues that impede effective chart management processes.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in design, implementation, and evaluation of performance improvement activities and efforts.
  • Confidentiality and Professionalism: Maintain personal adherence to professional confidentiality standards established within the department and in accordance with legal, ethical, and hospital standards.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: One year of office experience preferred with previous experience in medical billing, hospital or clinic registration, or other medical office experience preferred.
  • Skills: Critical thinking skills, ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships, excellent communication skills, advanced computer skills, and ability to work independently.
