Asphalt Paving Superintendent Opportunity

A leading asphalt paving company, GPAC, is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Superintendent to oversee the work of one or more paving crews. The successful candidate will coordinate activities of workers engaged in spreading, rolling, tamping, and patching asphalt or similar material to form surfaces of highways, streets, parking lots, driveways, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise paving crews and coordinate daily operations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions including scheduling, material control, and direction of field personnel.
  • Provide overall on-site leadership and management on a construction site.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in asphalt paving.
  • Strong background in mass earthwork, underground utilities, and asphalt and concrete paving.
  • Experience working with FDOT projects preferred.
  • Ability to supervise Foreman and lead by example.
  • Strong work ethic and stable work history.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
