NDE Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of NDE technicians and specialists in providing comprehensive NDE services to Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) lines of business.

This role involves planning, organizing, and monitoring NDE operations to ensure work expectations are met for NDE work scope, schedule, cost, safety, quality, procedural, and program compliance.

The Supervisor will also be responsible for recruiting, selecting, communicating expectations, fostering employee engagement, coaching, developing, mentoring, recognizing, and rewarding employees to drive performance and results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of NDE technicians and specialists in providing comprehensive NDE services
• Plan, organize, and monitor NDE operations to ensure work expectations are met
• Recruit, select, communicate expectations, and foster employee engagement
• Coach, develop, mentor, recognize, and reward employees to drive performance and results
• Ensure NDE operations are conducted safely and in accordance with PG&E Safety and Health standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
• 7 years of relevant experience
• Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline (desired)
• Experience leading union-represented employees (desired)
• ASNT Level 2 or 3 in various NDE methods, AWS Certified Welding Inspector, and/or Certified Radiographic Interpreter (desired)
