Job Title: Radiology Imaging Specialist
Job Summary: Uniti Med is seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join their team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Radiology Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a safe and efficient imaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Maintain a safe and efficient imaging environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent
- Experience working in a dynamic healthcare setting, preferably in a radiology department
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to maintain a safe and efficient imaging environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines
