About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Inpatient/Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at MUSC Health Marion Medical Center. Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a patient-centered approach to care. As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate, administer, and direct therapeutic procedures to support patients recovering from injury, disease, surgery, or other ailments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients using a variety of methods, including exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment to ease patients' pain and help them recover.
• Establish treatment plans and re-assess patients' progress at regular intervals, supporting findings with appropriate documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, peers, and other professionals as needed to provide continuity of care.
• Work cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and insurance adjusters to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess a Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school and be licensed as a Physical Therapist in South Carolina. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is also required. New graduates are welcome to apply.
