Covid-19 Resource Nurse Specialist

We utilize a team-based model that includes embedded Behavioral Health Clinicians, Case Managers, Care Coordinators, and Community Health Workers. The Covid-19 Resource Nurse plays a critical role in our team, assuming responsibility for all Covid-related nurse visits, vaccinations, testing, and patient education.
The Covid-19 Resource Nurse will triage all Covid-related telephone calls and walk-in patients with Covid medical questions or concerns. This position also coordinates the flow of Covid-related patient communications regarding labs, refills, dosages, changes, and instructions from providers.
Requirements and Qualifications- Education/Training: RN or LPN with 3 years of experience and a current NH RN or LPN license.
- Experience: Community health experience is preferred, and BLS certification is required.
- Knowledge/Skills: Ability to delegate tasks to other team members, health assessment skills, and coordination and delegation skills are necessary.
