Job Description

As a Med Surgical Tele RN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with diverse medical conditions, utilizing your critical thinking skills and expertise to ensure optimal outcomes.

You will work closely with physicians, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each patient. Your passion for delivering excellent patient care, combined with your strong communication skills, will enable you to effectively educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care according to established nursing standards and evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing interventions to promote positive outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that prioritize patient safety, comfort, and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care transitions, ensure seamless communication, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction, reduce readmissions, and optimize clinical outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.
  • Active Registered Nurse licensure in Kentucky (KY) or eNLC licensure with multistate privileges in good standing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, Cardiac, Emergency, or Critical Care service lines.
