Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategic HR Business Partner to join our Global Talent Development team at Intel. This is a key role that will partner with executive and senior leadership to drive business success.

About the Role

The Senior HR Director will be responsible for providing strategic counsel to executive business leadership around all talent factors related to successful execution of their business strategy. This includes managing the HR strategy, establishing and maintaining effective relationships, and delivering against business and people objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic counsel to executive business leadership on talent factors related to business success
  • Manage the HR strategy, including identifying, aligning, and optimizing HR programs, processes, and services
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships in support of the global organization and aligned region or GEO
  • Partner with leadership teams to deliver against business and people objectives, promoting a high-performance culture
  • Know the budget and headcount plan, ensuring people programs are managed to the established cost/expense structure
  • Understand aligned business group intimately, translating business needs into the HR operating plan
  • Work to align practices and initiatives with company's overarching strategic and operational goals
  • Partner with Business Unit Leaders to address root causes of HR issues
  • Encourage positive employee relations by using sensing tools, engaging directly with employees, and monitoring organizational health
  • Coach and develop members of the business HR team, setting prioritized goals and metrics to measure growth and performance
  • Act as steward of corporate HR practices, guidelines, and policies, role modeling Intel culture and values

Requirements

  • Significant experience supporting manufacturing operations
  • Experience in union and non-union operations, driving positive employee relations
  • International experience, including living and operating outside the US
  • 10+ years of direct HR experience or Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources/Organization Development or related field with 10+ years of related experience
  • M.B.A. with 5+ years of related experience

Location

This role will be based in Hillsboro, Oregon, or Phoenix, Arizona, with opportunities for hybrid work arrangements.
