About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at The Timken Company. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing relationships with our major OEM accounts in the Illinois/northwest Indiana region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new applications and new Cone Drive business at profiled OEM target accounts
  • Maintain and grow the Cone business at assigned existing accounts
  • Provide support for ASP's, the top Cone distribution locations in the territory
  • Execute Cone Drive strategies and initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • 5 years of related sales experience in industrial equipment or products
  • Ability to call on and maintain existing Cone Drive accounts and develop new accounts and applications for the Cone Drive product offering
  • Ability to gain working knowledge of our products and their applications, as well as the understanding of the customer base in the given region
  • Ability to foster long-term relationships with customers and have a proven track record in maintaining and growing business in the manufacturing arena
  • Minimum of 50% regional travel
