White Plains Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for administering radiation therapy treatment in a safe and effective manner using advanced level linear accelerators, TrueBeam and Edge.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiation oncology and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for recording and verifying treatment software, simulating patients in accordance with prescription and instruction of radiation oncologists, and performing routine, complex, and specialized work as well as integration and administration of new technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiation therapy treatment using advanced level linear accelerators, TrueBeam and Edge
  • Record and verify treatment software
  • Simulate patients in accordance with prescription and instruction of radiation oncologists
  • Perform routine, complex, and specialized work as well as integration and administration of new technology
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a committee of allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) accredited radiography program or equivalent
  • High School graduate or GED certificate required
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or equivalent
  • Current NYS license in Radiologic Technology
