At Jacobs, we're seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead our transportation and transit projects to success.

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and project delivery skills to drive business growth and client satisfaction.

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams, executing projects with preliminary and final design, quality assurance and quality control, and preparing design documentation.

You'll also be expected to develop and maintain strong client relationships, identify creative solutions, and drive growth with your clients.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a strong technical background in transportation/transit engineering, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

We're looking for a motivated and experienced professional who can utilize their excellent technical and design management skills to deliver transportation related infrastructure projects.

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects for premier municipal and state clients across eastern Washington and northern Idaho.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading multiple disciplinary teams in delivering projects that exceed client expectations
  • Identifying creative and innovative solutions based on client, project, and site constraints
  • Driving growth with your client, working closely with the project team for overall client satisfaction
  • Building relationships with your client through face-to-face meetings and participating in professional events
  • Leading internal coordination through working directly with the sales team on overall client strategy and coordination on pursuits

Requirements include:

  • (P.E.) Professional Engineer Registration in Washington State or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in the transportation market sector
  • Strong technical background in transportation/transit engineering and understanding of project delivery tools and metrics
  • Attributes that include good oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis and technical problem solving, and a strong organizational approach
  • Proven track record in developing and maintaining strong client relationships that result in the creation and procurement of new and repeat consulting work
