Role Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Project Architect to join our team as a Lead Architect and Design Director. You will lead design teams through the development of multiple projects or large-scale, intricate projects, overseeing technical aspects, managing risk, and ensuring all technical documents are meticulously handled throughout each construction phase.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage your expertise to train, mentor, and lead seminars across the organization.
  • Uphold and enhance the firm's reputation as a design-focused entity, staying at the forefront of industry trends and advancements.
  • Cultivate a collaborative environment by working closely with Principals, Project Managers, and Designers to craft compelling marketing materials and project narratives.
  • Promote the firm through external professional groups, events, and publications, solidifying our position as thought leaders.
Design Leadership
  • Engage in exploratory discussions, define project scopes, and devise innovative concepts that drive our designs forward.
  • Effectively manage consultants, delegate tasks, and provide guidance to junior staff, fostering a culture of growth and development.
  • Develop solutions to complex technical challenges, review production drawings, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee management tasks such as staffing, scheduling, and payment reviews, focusing on technical and design refinement.
  • Create, design, and review production drawings and construction documents for adherence to design intent and specifications.
  • Establish relationships with governmental agencies, facilitate project presentations, approvals, and permits, and conduct on-site observations and generate comprehensive reports.
  • Lead project close-out efforts, including punch lists and certificate processing.
