Master Tradesperson

Arlington Independent School District seeks a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team in maintaining and repairing plumbing equipment across the district.

• Maintain and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment as required.
• Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet relevant codes, manufacturer specifications, and environmental protection requirements.
• Perform scheduled maintenance services, applying all necessary codes and ensuring proper sizing, alignment, support, and grading.

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Valid Texas Journeyman Plumber license.
• Valid Texas driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Four years of experience in the plumbing trade area, including working knowledge of commercial plumbing equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

• The plumber will work outdoors for extended periods, potentially in uncomfortable positions, and may encounter physical strain due to lifting heavy objects and working with sharp, hot, and cold supplies and equipment.
• The position requires adherence to strict safety procedures to prevent injury.
• The plumber may be exposed to potential poisons and gases that could cause harm or illness.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. This estimate is based on industry standards and the location of Arlington, Texas.
