Medical Surgical Float Pool Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Surgical Float Pool Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's Medical Center. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
About the RoleAs a Medical Surgical Float Pool Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for performing patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and collaborating with the care team to ensure the safe and accurate delivery of care. You will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and families, providing education and support to promote optimal health outcomes.
Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
- Implement and evaluate care plans, making adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to non-licensed staff as needed
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of patients and families.
