Job Title: Workforce Instructor

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled workforce instructor to teach in a variety of programming areas, including welding, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, heavy equipment operations, and mechatronics.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach scheduled classes at the college in an open enrollment setting
  • Provide customized training for area businesses and corporations
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and industry partners
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Proven subject matter knowledge in a trade or technical field
  • Experience in teaching or training adults
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students and industry partners
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
