Dietary Assistant

At Spanish Cove Retirement Village, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by preparing and serving nutritious meals.

• Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch to residents according to the planned menu cycle.
• Set up the dish machine for the day and record wash and rinse temperatures.
• Prepare food, salads, desserts, and beverages for next meal and or day according to the menu.
• Clean the dining room after breakfast and lunch, wash dishes, and sweep and mop floors.
• Assist with final clean-up of the dietary department before leaving for the day.
• Check posted cleaning schedule and follow listed tasks.
• Interact with patients and offer assistance with selecting meals for a balanced, nutritional meal.
• Participate in dietary meetings and comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations, and Risk Management.

• Must be able to lift and transfer 50lbs.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather.
• Pay rate: $12.00 hourly.
