We're revolutionizing the audit and assurance industry by automating and streamlining processes for cybersecurity, privacy, and ESG professionals. Our mission is to build innovative software that empowers trust between businesses.

Based in San Francisco, CA, we've built a remote-first culture that enables our team members to excel from anywhere. Backed by prominent investors like Bessemer Venture Partners and Y Combinator, we're committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.

We value diversity in backgrounds and experiences. Our team is passionate about creating a supportive environment where everyone can grow and thrive. As an early-stage start-up employee, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of business trust.

About the Role

Your Responsibilities

  • Be an essential technical contributor as we scale.
  • Play a leadership role in developing features, making architectural decisions, and trading off different approaches.
  • Bring a mindset of continuous improvement to your work, ensuring our technology and processes continually improve over time.
  • Understand how to optimize for iteration speed while maintaining a high-quality bar and technical rigor.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You'll need experience with modern web tech stacks, including TypeScript, React, GraphQL, NodeJS, Hasura, Postgres, and AWS. Additionally, you should be familiar with:

  • Architecting systems and data pipelines that handle document-heavy data sets.
  • Test and automation tools like Jest and Cypress.
  • DevOps and continuous integration/delivery best practices.
  • Information security best practices.
  • Collaborating on all aspects of product strategy and UX.
  • Shaping a young tech stack, product, and engineering organization.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package with meaningful ownership: $170-184k base + equity.
  • Healthcare: We offer competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits.
  • 401k: We offer an optional 401k through Human Interest.
  • Mental health: We offer mental health and therapy benefits through SpringHealth.
  • Technology: All employees get a MacBook Pro, monitor, mouse, keyboard, or cash equivalent for home office items.
