Parkridge Medical Center is a 275-bed hospital located near downtown Chattanooga, featuring comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical services. Our state-of-the-art facilities include cardiovascular surgery and cancer treatment, intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, and rehabilitation. We are proud to offer a range of specialties, including neurosurgery, women's services, and neonatal intensive care.

Job Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families in a variety of settings. This includes conducting physical exams, developing and implementing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and educating patients and their families on health promotion and disease prevention. You will also have the opportunity to participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:
Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
Perform exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests.
Teach patients, families and caregivers about patient medical condition, patient status, treatment plan, medications and possible side effects, and follow-up measures.

Requirements:
An associate or bachelor's degree in Nursing is required, as well as a Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State. No previous experience is needed, but some travel may be necessary for training.
