Job Summary

Maintain a high standard of overall store appearance and cleanliness, ensuring a positive customer experience. Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting customers in finding products and resolving issues. Perform various tasks to maintain store organization and appearance, including cleaning, dusting, and restocking shelves.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and dispose of trash, adhering to approved procedures.
  • Dust and damp mop floors, following established protocols.
  • Move equipment and products for cleaning and restocking.
  • Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
  • Deep clean high-traffic areas, including bathrooms, breakrooms, and entryways.
  • Keep cleaning equipment organized and notify supervisor of supply needs.
  • Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
  • Complete assigned tasks by supervisor.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
  • Maintain positive interactions with team members and customers, adhering to company values.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model for team members.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on benefits of rewards programs and private label credit cards, completing enrollments.
  • Assist with omnichannel processes, including BOPIS and SFS.
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications

Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Work Environment
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
  • Public retail store setting with climate-controlled areas and some outdoor work.
