Job Summary

The Radiology Imaging Services Scheduler is responsible for scheduling patients for diagnostic and invasive/interventional exams and procedures in the Radiology Department. This role requires excellent communication skills to build relationships with interventional radiologist physicians, patients, and staff. The successful candidate will also assist with other areas key to the continuity of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule patients for diagnostic and invasive/interventional exams and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with practice offices, patients, and staff
  • Assist with other areas key to the continuity of patient care
Qualifications
  • High School Graduate diploma (or equivalent)
  • 1 year of scheduling experience (or related)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
